This week, students and staff at LAE Stratford are celebrating an exceptional set of A-level results, with the class of 2026 achieving the strongest results in the school's history.

38% of grades were awarded at A*, with 78% of grades at A*–A and 95% at A*–B.

The results are a testament to the hard work, determination and academic ambition of LAE’s students, alongside the dedication of teachers and staff who have supported them throughout their time at the school.

Results Day was a chance for students to celebrate their achievements with friends, teachers and families before looking ahead to the next stage of their education and careers.

LAE has a long-standing record of academic excellence and of supporting students to progress to leading universities and competitive degree apprenticeships. This year's leavers will now begin the next chapter of their journeys, taking with them the knowledge, skills and confidence they have developed during their time at LAE.

More than one in five students will begin degree courses at Russell Group universities next month, with over 50 students - another record in the school's history - heading to Oxford or Cambridge.

The whole LAE community would like to congratulate the Class of 2026 on their outstanding achievements and wish them every success for the future.
