Salary: Actual £27,061 - £28,939 (FTE £33,548-£35,877), Gr 7 Pt 25-28, dependent on experience

(2024/2025 rates subject to pay award increase)

London Academy of Excellence (LAE) is seeking to recruit a Senior Science Technician to support our high achieving Science Departments in delivering practical science lessons.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Science Technician who will be responsible for ensuring science laboratories are well-organised and fully equipped, preparing materials, equipment, and chemicals for practical lessons, maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to. Candidates will also support the growth of the science department and transition into new premises with additional Classroom Labs in Sept 2026.

LAE is an ambitious, academically selective sixth form in the heart of Stratford, close to the Olympic Park and just two minutes from Stratford Station (zone 3), with excellent links to all parts of London.
