Salary: Actual £27,737 - £29,860 (FTE £31,416 - £33,820), Gr 6 Pt 21 - Pt 24 dependent on experience

The London Academy of Excellence (LAE) is seeking to recruit a Librarian.
The successful candidate will:
- Demonstrate a passion for promoting reading culture among students,
- Be committed to providing excellent customer service to all library users
- Have the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students
- Be dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment within the library
- To promote an interest in information retrieval and encourage skills in finding and using it effectively and responsibly
- To support the curriculum through provision of up-to-date resources
- To have an in-depth knowledge of all resources available to Library users and give appropriate guidance
- To be responsible for the selection and deselection of stock
The successful candidate will also support the growth and transition of our library into our new school premises, Hawthorne House in September 2026. With a brand new state of the art library being built, this is an exciting time for a Librarian to join us.
