Full time 37.5 hours a week, Term time only, 37 weeks plus 2 weeks.
Salary: £23,350 - £25,341 Actual, LAE Gr 5 Pt 17-20, (£28,211-£30,616 FTE) dependent on experience.
(2025/2026 rates subject to pay award increase)
The London Academy of Excellence (LAE) is seeking to recruit a Science Technician to support our high achieving Science Departments in delivering practical science lessons in our brand new fit-for-purpose Academy. LAE will be making the move to new premises in Summer 2026 where we require a Science Technician to oversee 2 brand new science prep rooms and support to 13 laboratory classrooms. The successful ideal candidate will be looking to build upon their studies and experience in the subject area.
Responsibilities include ensuring laboratories are well-organised and fully equipped, preparing materials, equipment and chemicals for practical lessons, maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
