London Academy of Excellence (LAE) is seeking to recruit a Teacher of Philosophy and Theology to join this ambitious, selective sixth form.

LAE is in an Outstanding, heavily oversubscribed school located in the heart of Stratford, close to the Olympic Park and just two minutes from Stratford Station (zone 2/3), with excellent links to all parts of London.

LAE is the top-ranked sixth form provider in England to offer a full A level curriculum, according to the The Times. Our Philosophy & Theology department teaches the Edexcel specification and is renowned for consistently achieving some of the highest-grade outcomes in the school, with 80% of students achieving A*/A in the 2022 A-levels. Furthermore, every year, the department supports students in pursuing their interests in Philosophy & Theology at top universities, including Oxford and Cambridge.
