London Academy of Excellence (LAE) is seeking to appoint a fluent speaker of Spanish to the post of Foreign Language Assistant for seven hours per week.

Successful candidates will be joining an ambitious, selective sixth form school located in the heart of Stratford, close to the Olympic Park and just two minutes from Stratford Station (zone 2/3), with excellent links to all parts of London.

The role of the assistant is to conduct one-to-one conversation lessons in the target language with our A-level linguists and support the development of resources in the Modern Foreign Languages department. The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in education and willingness to develop students’ confidence and ability to communicate in the target language. • A package of employee benefits including access to a Cycle Scheme, Tech Scheme, and discounted local gym memberships.

LAE is a diverse and inclusive school, committed to supporting staff and students to be themselves and succeed on merit.
